《小城之春》是电影大师费穆1948年的作品,《〈卧虎藏龙》是台湾导演李安2000年的作品。这两部作品都具有鲜明的民族特色,但风格不尽相同,《小城之春》作为40年代现代电影的先驱,所体现的诗化节奏和意境之美是传统美学的典范,而《卧虎藏龙》则是在民族风格的基础上融汇了现代的电影语言,丰富和发展了民族风格的表现形式,扩大了民族电影在国际上的影响力。从对二者的民族风格进行的比较中,我们能对民族风格的传承与发展问题有某种发现。首先来了解一下它们民族风格不同的一面:
“Spring in a Small Town” is the work of the film master Fei Mu in 1948. “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” is a Taiwanese director Ang Lee’s 2000 work.
