深入探讨了TiN涂层高速钢在边界润滑摩擦磨损状态下的特殊现象,并初步搞清楚TiN涂层高速钢刀具在切削过程中的磨损机理.在含硫润滑剂作用下,TiN涂层表面受化学腐蚀,电化学腐蚀磨损,而反应边界膜在摩擦副之间起到部分隔离金属直接接触,避免TiN涂层发生机械摩擦磨损的作用;在切削过程中,在TiN涂层高速钢刀具的刀-屑接触边界处TiN与大气中的氧化合,生成有益的氧化钛,致使TiN涂层刀具抗缺口磨损能力较强,但刀-屑接触长度减小,因而易发生刀尖磨损.
