本控制器主要是为金属摆光源灯、时号灯提供交直流电源转换,光源灯、时号灯烧毁自动报警,以及用石英钟时号脉冲作为时号灯的开启信号,准时点燃,日差小于0.2秒。时号灯的点燃时间可控范围为10～60秒。本控制器自1979年安装于广西地震局灵山地震台地倾斜组,使用至今性能良好,动作可靠。为该组获得良好资料提供了可靠保证。近几年该组质量上乘,连续为国家地震局评为先进单位。
