PGM (phosphoglucomutase) catalyses the phosphoryl transfer between glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate and is an enzyme that plays an important role in the animal’s glucose metabolism. It is widely found in mammalian Various tissues, liver, kidney, heart, uterus, brain, skin, placenta and other tissues and blood and semen have this enzyme. Spencer et al. First separated the PGM and I enzymes by starch gel electrophoresis and classified the population into three types (PGM1, PGM2-1, PGM2). Since then, many scholars have done a lot of research on the crowd PGM classification. It has been found that PGM has three groups with Ⅰ enzyme, PGM_1, PGM_2, PGM_3, respectively, by the different locus genes control.
