As the third largest port in the world, Shanghai Port has made a lot of contribution to the socialist construction in our country. However, there is a considerable gap in terms of technology, technology and management from the advanced countries in the world. The Port of Shanghai Nampo Port is a specialized loading and unloading of timber, pig iron and minerals, of which the loading and unloading of timber is almost 1/3 of the country’s imports of timber. Such an important terminal, timber handling has long been used by the labor-intensive, dangerous high manual operation. Since the 1970s, 14 people were killed in 10 years due to manual loading and unloading of timber. Only one month in 1979, three people were killed and the majority of workers referred to the work as “wooden tigers.”
