Decocting is the treatment of disease by heating water to penetrate the drug’s tissue and dissolve it’s active ingredients. Ancient physicians attached great importance and had brilliant discussions. Li Shizhen of the Ming Dynasty said: “Where the Chinese medicine is taken, the water and fire are bad, and if the heat is not correct, the medicine is also ineffective.” Qing Xu Xu Daxuan also said: “The method of decocting is the most appropriate thing to say. The efficacy and inefficiency of medicines are all about this. The husband’s cooking can still be damaged due to the loss of scheduling, but he can’t care about the treatment of his condition.” This application is not appropriate, affecting the efficacy of this, talk about personal superficial views on this, for the doctor must know.
