南帆老师谈到由驻校作家来指导写作课程,这一点我十分赞同。但我想进一步澄清的是:中文系、或者说大学,为什么要教授写作?而作家又为什么一定要学习写作、乃至文学史文学理论等学术知识?在我身处的大学,每一届中文系都有几个“写作型”学生,但他们与自己的课业常常形成一种令人遗憾的关系:老师和学生,学术和写作,各走各路。这是教育者的缺陷,对于学生来说更是莫大的损失,因为一个把自己和知识对立起来的作家,一个视文学史为故纸堆、视理论和批评为跟屁虫只相信一己之才思的作家,几乎没机
I am very much in agreement with Teacher Nan Fan’s talk about the writer’s instruction in writing courses. But I would like to clarify further: Chinese Department, or university, why teach writing? And why writers must learn writing, literary history and literary theory and other academic knowledge?
