外语教学要培养学生听、说、读、写的实践能力,教师在这几方面,必须有一定的修养,才能适应教学的要求。我为了教好英语,几年来,曾对提高自己的听、说、读、写的水平,作了一些努力。开始的时候,我感到有两个困难:一是缺少讲说外语的环境,听、说无法进行;二是没有足够时间,读、写无法保证。我还认为:在中学教书是不可能解决上述问题的,特别是外语环境的问题。但是,教学的责任感促使我发挥了主观能动性,突破了客观条件的困难。首先,我利用听英语教学留声机片和收听北京英语
Foreign language teaching should cultivate students' ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Teachers must have some accomplishments in these aspects to meet the requirements of teaching. In order to teach English well in the past few years, I made some efforts to improve my listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
