本文介绍一种用于高性能计算的并行环境—PC机群,从硬件平台和软件环境两个方面讲述了它的构建方法,并通过一个应用实例介绍了使用消息传递接口(MPI)进行并行计算的方法。实际应用表明,利用PC机群进行并行计算具有投资风险小、计算成本低、可扩展性好、开发周期短、容易编程等优点,可以用其实现一些对数据量和运算速度等方面要求较高的科学计算。
This article describes a parallel computing environment for high-performance computing-PC cluster, from the hardware platform and software environment describes its construction methods, and through an application example describes the use of Message Passing Interface (MPI) for parallel computing method.
