With the introduction of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) methods, attempts have been made to prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases using noninvasive methods to detect fetal nucleated cells in maternal peripheral blood. Recognizable and isolated fetal nucleated cells have trophoblastic cells, lymphocytes and nucleated erythrocytes three.
