I. Foreign Situations The United States was the earliest country to develop equipment diagnostics technology. The National Machinery Failure Research Association (MFWG) was established in 1961, and the Machinery Failure Prevention Team was established under the guidance of NASA in 1967. MFPG) was later placed under the leadership of the U.S. National Bureau of Standards. It consists of four divisions: failure mechanism research, diagnostic and diagnostic technology, reliability design, and material durability testing.
