1997年11月28日午后,刚刚搁笔《第一交响乐》的原中央乐团作曲家王酩,因为创作的兴奋情绪难以平息,独自外出散步,途中心脏病发作。12月5日中午,他终于未能从长达7天的昏迷中醒来,从此再也没有回到自己的家中。他留给的家人、朋友和听众的除了无尽的思念,还有那些经久不衰的歌曲。人们除了在每年的春节晚会结束时,必听到他的经典之作《难忘今宵》的歌曲,还能在各种不同晚会听到李谷一等歌唱家经常还唱起《青春啊,青春》、《小花》、《妹妹找哥泪花流》、《知音》等大家无比喜爱与熟悉的歌曲。他这一去就是八年!八年来,他的亲人、朋友和听众一直都期待着能够举办一场《王酩作品音乐会》,但因种种原因,未能如愿。今年“十一”黄金周的最后一天,广州星海音乐厅像过节一样的热闹。酝酿了八年的《王酩作品音乐会》终于在这里成功举办。而完成这个里程碑级作曲家的纪念音乐会,重现作曲家丰富的创作成就的演奏团体,则是一个少年乐团,是近百名不拿一分钱演出费的孩子们。这就是广州市海珠区小天使交响乐团。十月六日傍晚,当记者在结束了北京古筝艺术节的闭幕典礼之后,陪同已故作曲家王酩先生的夫人及女儿赶到广州时,一场已经筹备10个月之久的名为《海珠之声,难忘今宵——王酩作品音乐会》的排练已经接近尾声。音乐会的主唱者著名歌唱家李谷一正匆匆赶往海珠少年宫的小海燕排练场,进行最后一次和乐。少年宫的主要领导,全体办公室工作人员都像是完成一项重要的政治任务一样的为这场音乐会忙碌着。所见所闻,让记者从内心深处涌动着一种感动和真诚的敬意。——编者 On the afternoon of November 28, 1997, composer Wang Kui, formerly Central Philharmonic Orchestra with the first symphony of music written off, was struck out of the excitement of writing because he was walking alone and had a heart attack on his way.
