上海有幸,被联合国教科文组织授予“设计之都”称号。有君疑问:眼下的上海,真的跻身“创意城市”了么?或许,更大的共识是:算不上名副其实,最多是差强人意。而熟知上海历史者都心知肚明,这个美丽的桂冠,与其说是赐予当下,不如说是致敬历史。历史无疑是上海最大的王牌,作为中国工业革命的发祥地,作为众多百年老字号的发源地,作为西方舶来品的集中地,上海曾经创造了不可胜数的名牌产品,其中无不凝结着“设计”心血。倘若“设计之都”是对这座城市的宏观概括,可谓实至名归。
Shanghai is fortunate to be awarded the title of “Design Capital” by UNESCO. There is a question asked: Now Shanghai, really among the “creative city” it? Perhaps, the greater consensus is: not really worthy, up to the overkill. The well-known Shanghai historians are fully aware that this beautiful title is not so much a gift to the moment as it is a tribute to history. History is undoubtedly the biggest trump card in Shanghai. As the cradle of China’s industrial revolution, as the birthplace of many hundred-year-olds, as the center of imported exotic products in the West, Shanghai has created innumerable brand-name products, Effort If “Design Capital ” is a macro overview of the city, it is deserved.
