奥斯卡·王尔德,19世纪英国最为著名的唯美主义艺术运动倡导者,英国著名的诗人、戏剧家、艺术家、童话作家,唯美主义的最伟大的代表人物之一,他在短暂的一生中不仅创作了很多经典的戏剧、小说作品,而且也出版了大量的诗歌和散文集。王尔德诗歌作品中充满着浪漫主义元素,分析其诗歌作品中所具有的浪漫主义元素,主要表现在三个方面:对浪漫主义诗歌题材的运用,多用民谣、抒情诗、颂诗、十四行诗、讽刺诗、挽诗等形式;主题表达上沿袭英语诗歌的传统,寄情山水,讴歌自然,语词明了、句式简约地表达浪漫情怀;表现形式上主观性也很强,王尔德的主张比较接近于浪漫主义,如对想象、感觉、个性以及创造力的推崇和对庸俗、低劣、乏味的唾弃,都与浪漫主义是一脉相承的。
