Japan is the first Asian country to produce organic synthetic insecticides and is widely used for pest control in rice. All pests of pests have been treated with pesticides. The annual output of Japanese pesticides ranks second in the world (300,000 tons) and is almost exclusively used for rice. Such a large number of pesticides will inevitably promote the development of many pest resistance.
