Information on the issue of sudden death is very wide, a common problem is the definition of sudden death is still very inconsistent. Therefore, at present, it is extremely difficult to compare the results of different studies and make a unified assessment. The shortest range of sudden death includes immediate death, up to a maximum of 24 hours after the onset of symptoms. The same is true for the definition of sudden death, developed or partially developed by the WHO, in the past two decades. The definition of sudden death in the 1959 Hypertension and Coronary Panel of Experts was “immediate death within a few minutes after the onset of clinical symptoms.”
