本实验以~3H—TdR作为标记物,用放射性自显影技术,向后上方牵引大鼠下颌,观察大鼠髁头软骨细胞DNA合成活性的变化。结果发现,受牵引力后髁头软骨生发展的标记细胞数量明显下降,去除矫治力2周后,整个生发层的标记细胞数量又明显回升,且显著高于对照组。说明矫形牵引力对髁头的生长产生了较为明显的抑制作用,然而这种抑制作用只发生在施力期间,去除矫形力后.髁头又会恢复生长,而且还会出现一种反跳性加速生长现象。
