Introduction Missing-target measurement remains one of the most difficult issues in air-to-air and surface-to-air missile tests. The difficulty is due to the physical characteristics of the missile, the relative speed of the missile and the target, and the unwillingness of testers to change the characteristics of the missile (without the cooperation of devices). In addition, because the target aircraft can not be recovered in most cases, advanced measurement equipment should not be used on the aircraft. Two methods commonly used in miss distance measurement are optical methods and radar techniques. Cameras, CW FM radars, CW Doppler and very short pulse non-coherent radars are all
