为了延长机床的使用寿命,必须提高床身、立柱、工作台等主要铸件的导轨耐磨性、尺寸稳定性和精度保持性,我们曾从采取合理的铸造工艺着手,试验应用了隔砂冷铁。隔砂冷铁系外冷铁的一个变钟,即在外冷铁与铸件接触面上挂一层特配型砂。根据我厂使用情况表明:可提高导轨的硬度;不产生碳化铁影响加工;同时减少了导轨缩松的倾向。既能起到外冷铁的激冷作用又避免了外冷铁的易生白口、气孔、粘连及寿命短等缺点。
