本文介绍了从不同方面减少稀土消耗的技术。采用局部石灰石炉衬碱性冲天炉可使原铁水含硫量降低约30%,炉渣中FeO含量<3%,从而处理每吨铁水可节约稀土球化剂或蠕化剂费用约五十无人民币;改进稀土合金特性,在稀土硅铁合金基础上加入适量锌、铝等元素可使稀土相对吸收率提高30%以上;采用改进的加盖铁水包,可使稀土合金吸收率提高5~10%。
