1998年《艺术教育》第三期上,刊登了南京艺术学院院长冯健亲教授《“艺术考级”泛滥的现象应该制止》一文。笔者一直从事音乐教育工作,多年来也亲身经历了音乐考级教育方方面面的事情,对此问题也有一些切身体会。在此,就考级对社会大众化音乐普及教育的作用和存在的问题,谈谈自己的看法。一、音乐考级确实有利于音乐素质教育的普及随着人们物质生活水平的不断提高,对精神生活的追求具备了良好的物质基础。所以,90年代以来,家长对此都有客观的看法,即通过学习,培养孩子一方面的技能,或者至少使孩子具备—定的音乐素养,并不追求将来有多深的造诣。
