笔者在江苏句容县某金矿区,进行了植物群落含金性的研究,认为在金矿普查中,利用植物群落以及海州香薷和野蚊子草等的含金测量,可作指示寻找金矿的一种手段.该矿区内出露的地层主要是下三叠统上青龙组碳酸岩,金矿属于与燕山晚期石英闪长斑岩侵入有关的中温热液石英脉型金矿.该矿床上部矿体己氧化为具蜂窝状构造的褐铁矿、赤铁矿的铁帽.铁帽中含金量约为在几ppm,较富的部位可达几十ppm.
