The deepening of the division of labor in the global value chain has promoted the structural transformation and upgrading of the economy in the Yangtze River Delta. In particular, the role of producer services in the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta becomes increasingly important, especially in the context of a slowdown in industrial growth. In this paper, spatial Gini coefficient, spatial autocorrelation analysis, location quotient and other spatial measurement methods are synthetically applied to deeply analyze the characteristics of spatial agglomeration and the spatial and temporal evolution of producer services in the Yangtze River Delta. Research shows that the overall level of producer services in the Yangtze River Delta is constantly improving and its internal structure is continuously optimized. The spatial distribution of producer services in the Yangtze River Delta shows the characteristics of point-like concentration and does not have the geographical spatial adjacency. The size of the employed population in the productive service industry in the Yangtze River Delta shows a positive correlation with the service function. That is, the higher the employed population is, the better its function is and the more its function is rather monotonous. From the inside of the industry, the professionalization of producer services is obvious. Different cities have basically formed their own development advantages and special industries, and the division of functions within the regions is clearer.
