本文实质上是笔者1979年文章的附篇。在前一篇文章中,笔者试图重建古生代泛大陆,主要是依据生物地理资料和碳酸盐岩及非碳酸盐岩的分布。本文增添了对解释气候有相当价值的岩石资料,其中有些(如红层、铝土岩、高岭土和别的热带风化产物)支持以前的结论,磷灰岩也提供一些允许作多种解释的资料。也考虑了古生代海相蒸发岩、煤沉积和黑色页岩相可能具有的气候意义。我们认为,所有增添的岩石资料是与泛大陆假说吻合而并不牵强的证据。
This article is essentially an attachment to the author’s 1979 article. In the previous article, the author tried to rebuild the Paleozoic Pan-continental mainly on the basis of biogeographic data and the distribution of carbonate and non-carbonate rocks. Some texts (eg red beds, bauxite, kaolin and other tropical weathering products) that support the interpretation of climate are added to this paper to support previous conclusions. Phosphorites also provide some information that allows for many interpretations . Also considered the Paleozoic marine evaporites, coal deposits and black shale facies may have a climatic significance. In our opinion, all the additional rock information is consistent with the hypothesis of the Pan-Continental and not unduly strong evidence.
