随着经济社会和科学技术的发展,近些年,一批明显不同于解构主义,也不能笼统地归为后现代主义的建筑风格逐渐呈现在公众的视野中。如北京凤凰传媒中心、上海喜马拉雅中心、广州歌剧院、台湾地区台中大都会歌剧院……它们大多数运用计算机技术,使用参数化设计平台,使设计结果呈现出混沌、有机、神秘等“非线性”意象。对此,很多业内人士称其为“非线性建筑”。文章试从非线性建筑的重要审美特征——“混沌”入手,找出中国传统美学精神特别是道家美学精神在非线性建筑中的表现,以及中国传统“混沌”与现代“混沌”科学的联系,以期倡导既现代又根植东方的设计理念。
