Iron deficiency anemia is the most common form of anemia and is particularly prevalent in children and women, not only in poor areas and in developing countries but also in developed countries. For example, in 1976, India found that children aged 1/22 to 6 years old had hemoglobin (Hb) <110g / L, accounting for 35-50% of the total. Adults generally accounted for 10%, women accounted for 20%, pregnant women 40%, late pregnant women 57.4% . Among children aged 3 months to 3 years old in the United States, those with Hb <100g / L have 40% of the poor and 4% to 8% of the rich. From 1979 to 1982, China conducted a survey of more than 27,000 children in more than 10 provinces and cities nationwide. The preliminary findings showed that the average Hb in children <100g / L was 37.9% and that in urban areas was 25-65%
