19世纪末20纪初,没落衰败的封建文化和陈腐暮气的中国画坛,使中国画面临着不得不进行创新的局面。林风眠的人物画在中国传统笔墨绘画的基础上融入了西方绘画里的色彩、光影、明暗等元素和技法,融汇中西,贯穿古今。借鉴西方现代绘画艺术和在中国皮影、陶瓷、壁画艺术中汲取的造型灵感,运用西方绘画的表现形式和现代独特的造型理念,为中国画的发展作出了必要的探索。
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the decline of decadent feudal culture and the decadent Chinese painting scene made the Chinese painting imperious to innovate. Lin Fengmian’s portrait painting incorporates the elements and techniques of color, light and shadow, light and darkness in western painting based on the traditional Chinese ink and brush painting. It integrates Chinese and Western and runs through ancient and modern times. Draw lessons from the modern western painting art and the inspiration of drawing in the shadow, porcelain and mural art in China and make the necessary exploration for the development of Chinese painting by using the representation form of western painting and the modern unique modeling concept.
