前不久,中央电视台和中国戏剧家协会联合举办了全国中、青年京剧演员电视大赛,我多次收看现场实况转播,对众多中青年演员的精湛技艺表演感到特别兴奋,为京剧事业后继有人而深感欣慰。尤其中年青衣里的薛亚萍,我觉得她是张门弟子中的佼佼者。她的演唱和表演可以说是“美、媚、甜、脆”。她学张君秋老师这一派是学其精华,继承流派、又发扬了流派。张派艺术有它很多优势和特征。张君秋老师的早年、中年、晚年这三个阶段的艺术方面是不一样的。有些演员学张派可能是没摸到窍门,总是一个劲儿地学张老师的晚年演唱。尽管艺术家越到晚年艺术越成熟,达到了炉火纯青的境界,但不能视而不见他力不从心的一面,因为人到了老年受生理条件的限制、跟他鼎盛时期的演唱肯定是不同的,因此,要学艺术家们风华正茂的盛年,而不是他的晚年。
