水泵叶轮的出口宽度对森林消防泵的性能有着极大的影响,根据水泵的外部特性要求,通过数值计算获得叶轮出口宽度。在保证叶轮的进出口安装角、进出口直径等其他参数不变的情况下,对叶轮的出口宽度设置参数变化,应用PRO/E软件进行叶轮的改型设计,使叶轮的出口宽度分别为8、10、12 mm,依次对各出口宽度进行计算流体动力学(CFD)数值模拟,以获得大流量、高扬程离心泵叶轮的最优出口宽度。实验表明:当叶轮出口宽度为8、12 mm时,叶轮内部流速与压力都没有达到最佳状态;而当出口宽度为10 mm时,叶轮内部流场的速度最高可达40 m/s,最大压力可达2.0×105Pa左右,且压力和速度分布均匀,此时最优运行工况效率为91.72%。通过离心泵野外试验验证,叶轮出口宽度为10 mm时的扬程与流量都达到了设定目标。
