In the Yushu area in the southern part of Qinghai Province, there is a set of Late Triassic strata, Batang Group, dominated by volcanic rocks. This formation distributes in the southwest side of the Jinsha River - Tongtian River, extending from 60 ° north to 75 ° northwest. Starting from the west, it is colorful, dominated by more rivers, then dredged to Batang area, Then extended to Sichuan territory. Extension of about 300 kilometers in Qinghai territory, exposure width is generally 10-30 km. Batang Group was established in 1970 by Qinghai Provincial Tiaitiao 1: 100 Wan District as a local stratigraphic unit. To the north of Batang Group, there is a Triassic Bayan Har mountain group (ie, the original “Xikang Group”) with a width of 50-200 km, and a distributed Upper Triassic ligation group to the south. Batang group was elongated strip distribution between the two (Figure 1).
