过去认为肿瘤坏死因子(TNF-α)与癌症恶病质有关。小鼠接种转染了人TNF-α基因肿瘤细胞后,体重明显下降,但伴有明显厌食。但研究发现,应用重组TN-α并不加速恶病质的发展,因此,TNF-α与恶病质发展的关系不密切。恶病质的发生、发展还受其它因素的影响。作者试图进一步弄清肿瘤脂溶因子与恶病质的关系。方法:作者用小鼠结肠腺癌(MAC16)
In the past, tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) was thought to be related to cancer cachexia. After the mice were inoculated with tumor cells transfected with the human TNF-α gene, body weight was significantly decreased, but there was a significant anorexia. However, the study found that the application of recombinant TN-α does not accelerate the development of cachexia. Therefore, TNF-α is not closely related to the development of cachexia. The occurrence and development of cachexia are also affected by other factors. The authors attempted to further clarify the relationship between tumor fat-soluble factors and cachexia.
