For Western politicians, business people and economists, the current Western economy presents a mixed picture. So far, the most important political groups in Eastern Europe seem to think that the market economy outperforms their planned economy. Thus, the past East-West conflict ended in the victory of the West. However, to the western world, unfortunately, this victory does not necessarily make its particular concept of market economy accepted around the world. In the Far East, above all, Japan has become a powerful challenger of Western ideas with its very unique economic system. At first sight, it is related to the imbalance between the two in commodity trade and overseas direct investment. However, after further analysis, one can find out the differences in economic structure between the two in terms of economic and social concepts and behavior patterns The difference can finally find the difference between the two economic paradigms.
