观察表明，二斑叶螨危害多种果树叶片，一年中其变化规律可分为出蛰期、缓慢增殖期、扩散蔓延期、猖獗发生期、衰退期和入蛰期。抓住苹果开花前和谢花后７ ～１０ 天这两个最佳防治时期，使用０ ．３ ％ 敌虱螨或卵虫螨克等药剂基本能控制其发生发展。
