It gradually grew into a foundation established in the United States and even the world by 1950 with headquarters in New York. Since January 1998, Ford Fund has set up an office in Beijing and has so far supported over 80 million U.S. dollars in China. Representative Andrew J. Watson, the current representative to China, is very much concerned with reproductive health and family planning in China. For half a century Ford funds have been dedicated to providing funding for innovative people and have provided more than $ 10 billion in grants and loans.
