低酚棉新品种浙棉9号和浙棉10导均源于常规棉品种（系）与低酚棉品种（系）杂交选育而成，具有其母本的丰产性好、生产潜力大和父本的结铃性强、铃子大等特点；不仅表现皮棉产量高、纤维品质好，而且表现棉子仁中脂肪酸、蛋白质和氨基酸含量高，适应于浙江省及长江中下游地区种植。
