FTS(血清胸腺因子)组幼鼠30只,对照组幼鼠30只。
Seventy-five immunized mice were infected with Snyder-Theilen feline sarcoma virus (Felinearcomavirus of Snyder-Theilenstrain, ST-FeSV) carrying the v-fes oncogene. Thirty rats in the FTS (serum thymocyte factor) group and 30 young rats in the control group. The incidence of sarcoma at the site of inoculation was 40.4%, 63. 3%, and 76.7% in the immunized group, the FTS group, and the control group, respectively. There was no expression of p85 in v-fes gene product in the immunized group, 10 cases (10/13) of sarcoma in the FTS group, and 3 cases (3/6) of sarcoma in the control group. The results of in situ hybridization showed that scattered cells had weaker v-fes gene signals in the immunized group, and PTS and most of the cells in the control group had stronger gene signals. The results showed that host immune status can affect the occurrence and nature of tumors.
