Objective: To evaluate the longitudinal fracture of miniature pig condyles in juvenile pigs. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Six experimental miniature pigs were used in China, which resulted in a left longitudinal condyle fracture model. Computed tomography (CT) was performed at 6 months after surgery. Results: The condyles of juvenile miniature long after multiple longitudinal fractures formed double condyle deformity. CONCLUSION: The mechanism of bipolar condylar deformity is related to the secondary injury of the disc, the adhesion of the disc process and the displacement of the medial fracture plate. In addition, the age at the longitudinal fracture of the condyle is crucial to the formation of the bi-condylar deformity.
