黑暗中,高跟鞋嗑嗑作响。一个背影忽明忽暗,妖娆身形自远而近。女人独上阁楼。老式木制楼梯,每踩一脚,咯吱一响。女人的闺房要从下边往上钻。人从窄窄的楼梯小心探上去,面前出现一个一米见方的出口,再踏出去,是一个阁楼间。空间逼仄狭小,女人习惯地弯着腰,摸到床榻的一角,坐下,老虎窗外昏黄的夜,街上车稀人少,远远传来几声犬吠。啊,这夜!床头灯打开,留声机里音乐悠悠滑出来,是一首姚莉的原声唱《苏州河边》——“夜留下一片寂寞/河边不见人影一个/我挽着你/你挽着我/暗的街上来往走着……”
