我们开发了一种应用光纤弯曲损耗性能的本地幅度调制新方法,不必切断光纤。证明了选用低介入损耗的最佳弯曲半径可取得高调制指数。应用这种技术,我们制造了一个在80km长的光传输线路终端间带6个中间点的对讲系统。
We have developed a new method of local amplitude modulation that uses fiber bend loss performance without having to cut the fiber. It is proved that high modulation index can be obtained by choosing the best bend radius of low insertion loss. Using this technology, we have built an intercom system with six midpoints between the 80km long optical transmission line terminals.
