本文介绍了上海天文台实验室型铯束频标的改进工作,主要有: 采用单根波导构成的低Q的U形微波腔取代原来九段波导组合的腔结构,把能态选举器由电磁铁改为永久磁铁,新研制了铯炉准直器和检测器,改善了导轨的支撑结构,调整了C场结构,改善了束管的真空状况;改进了装调和测试方法;研制了脉冲测速装置。同时,文章也给出了改进后铯束频标的初步测试结果,小时稳定度由6×10-13提高到3×10-13,准确度由2×10-12提高到6.5×10-13。其他指标也都相应有所改善。
In this paper, we introduce the improvement of lab-type cesium beam frequency standard of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory by replacing the cavity structure of the original nine-segment waveguide with a low-Q U-shaped microwave cavity with a single waveguide and changing the state selector from electromagnet to Permanent magnet, the newly developed cesium furnace collimator and detector to improve the support structure of the guide rail, adjust the C field structure and improve the beam tube vacuum conditions; improve the installation and testing methods; developed pulse velocity measurement device. At the same time, the article also gives the preliminary test results of improved cesium beam frequency standard, the hour stability is increased from 6 × 10-13 to 3 × 10-13, and the accuracy is improved from 2 × 10-12 to 6.5 × 10-13. Other indicators also have improved accordingly.
