随着我国向世界畅开大门,各国对我国民族音乐的兴趣有增无减。近年来一些西方民族音乐学者来我国进行实地考察,我国的民族音乐学者也相继出国学习或参加各类国际学术活动。这无疑大大促进了音乐艺术的交流,提高了中国音乐在国际上的地位。作为成果之一,就是有越来越多的中国音乐论文在国际学术讲坛上出现。不久前在美国加州奥克兰召开的民族音乐学年会上,有众多的中国音乐研究论文在会上宣读,其中引起轰动的篇目有:哈佛大学赵汝兰的《10世纪敦煌乐谱之研究》,香港中文大学林萃青的《宫廷祭祀音乐在中国音乐史学中的地位》,
