东京华侨总会,原称东京华侨联合会,1946年5月成立于东京都中央区昭和小学内,1951年改称东京华侨总会。创始人陈礼桂、高玉树,现任会长廖雅彦。总会主张弘扬中华文化,保护华侨正当利益,推动互助互济的福利事业。1949年10月1日,中华人民共和国成立,总会以侨民大会名义发表声明,支持中华人民共和国政府。多年来,东京华侨总会在复杂艰困的环境中不断斗争,赢得了日本各地各阶层华人侨胞的支持,在日本各华人社团中具有领导地位。
Tokyo Overseas Chinese Association, formerly known as the Tokyo Overseas Chinese Federation, was founded in May 1946 in Showa Elementary School, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and was renamed as Tokyo Overseas Chinese Association in 1951. Founder Chen Li Gui, Gao Yushu, the incumbent president Liao Ya-Yan. The Chinese government always advocates the promotion of Chinese culture, protects the legitimate interests of overseas Chinese and promotes the welfare cause of mutual aid. On October 1, 1949, the People’s Republic of China was established. The General Assembly will issue a statement on behalf of the Overseas Chinese Assembly in support of the government of the People’s Republic of China. Over the years, the Tokyo Overseas Chinese General Federation has continuously fought in complicated and difficult circumstances and won the support of Chinese compatriots from all walks of life in various parts of Japan. It has a leading position among various Chinese associations in Japan.
