From east to west is the first collaboration between Joanna McCrenger, Britain’s most prominent modern pianist, and Venus, a modern dancer in China. This long awaited show, organized by the British Council (organized by the British and Chinese Embassy Cultural and Education Section) and Century Performance Company, will be held at Beijing North Marshal Theater (formerly Green Arts Theater) on November 1 and 2. The show is a combination of Joanna McCreog’s special performance of piano and Chinese music theme elements with Venus improvised passionate dance.
