我国著名微生物与免疫学家、医学教育家、国家一级教授汪美先同志,因患肺癌于1993年6月4日在西安逝世。享年80岁。汪美先教授1914年1月出生于浙江省衢州市。1936年毕业于国立河南大学医学院,获学士学位,后赴日本留学。回国后,先后在甘肃医学院、江苏医学院、西北医学院等校历任科主任、讲师、副教授、教授、代理院长等职。1949年上海解放后,任华东人民制药公司生物制品实验所技正兼主任。1948~1951年兼任南通医学院教授。1951年响应党和政府号召来到西安,先后任西北军
China’s famous microbiologist and immunologist, medical educator and national first class professor Wang Meixian died of lung cancer on June 4, 1993 in Xi’an. Aged 80 years old. Professor Wang Meixian was born in January 1914 in Shengzhou, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the National Henan University School of Medicine in 1936 with a bachelor’s degree and went to study in Japan. After returning to China, he successively served as director, lecturer, associate professor, professor and dean of the school at Gansu Medical College, Jiangsu Medical College, and Northwestern Medical College. After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, he served as the director and director of the Biological Products Laboratory of the People’s Pharmaceutical Company of China. From 1948 to 1951, he served as a professor at Nantong Medical College. In response to the party and the government’s call to Xi’an in 1951, they served as the Northwest Army.
