一、地理与人文背景楚文化是长江流域文明的代表,也是中华文明的源头之一。楚地交通南北,以江汉为中心,面积辽阔,域内林莽茂密,湖网纵横,物产丰富。它融合了南蛮、东夷、华夏各族,形成当时疆域最大、民族众多的国家。因其生态条件复杂多变,为巫风盛行提供了良好的环境,故楚人多信巫好鬼,这成为了楚艺术大的题材背景:又因其较为炎热的气候条件,容易促成人们冥想清修的习惯,造就了道学形成和发展的条件,信奉清静无为的哲学思想
I. Geographical and Cultural Background Chu culture is the representative of the civilization in the Yangtze River basin and one of the sources of Chinese civilization. Chu traffic north-south, Jianghan as the center, a vast area, dense forests, the lake aspect, rich products. It combines Nanban, Dongyi, Huaxia ethnic groups, forming the largest territory at that time, a large number of nations. Because of its complex and changing ecological conditions, providing a good environment for the prevalence of witchcraft, the Chu people believed in witchs and ghosts.
