央视五套推出《武林大会》栏目最初取得了较好的传播成效,节目的实战性设计颠覆了武术在武侠影视剧中近乎完美的传播学形象,但是,其所扬谕的真打实摔的格斗理念却未能取得理想的收视效果。《武林大会》虽然加入了表演性元素,但仍无以超越古典型武艺诗意化表达的高度,其对经典武打影视剧的通俗化诠释,同样遭遇到设计简单、内涵单薄、失去武术生态活性的困境,而折中主义的规则体系造就出《武林大会》的温和风尚难以吸引更多的中国观众。《武林大会》对武术作出了世俗化的处理之后,武术的原始性、神秘性、宗教性、仪式性以及其与国学的骨血连接方式已不复存在。《武林大会》无以超越具有神话性、浪漫性和想象力的经典武术传播图式。《武林大会》试图将武术作出现代商业性的诠释,却驱使中华武术走向非武术的文化境地与违背武术基本意义体系的歧途。
