We propose a new priority CSMA / CD method called PW-CSMA / CD. This method is to generalize the Acknowledging Ethernet method. In this approach, the basic channel access latency is introduced, the size of which is inversely proportional to the priority of the packet, thereby prioritizing. This article on nonpersistent PW-CSMA / CD mode performance. That is, the average channel utilization and average packet retransmission times are analyzed theoretically, and the results are compared with the original, non-priority CSMA / CD performance. The analysis shows that the average number of retransmissions of nonpersistent PW-CSMA / CD with the highest priority is slightly smaller than that of the original CSMA / CD with no priority,
