索菲亚·纳乌科夫斯卡(1884—1954),波兰著名女作家,著有长篇小说《界限》(1935)等;1946年发表了十分著名、篇幅很小的短篇小说集《椭圆浮雕》。纳乌科夫斯卡写作的《椭圆浮雕》包括八篇短篇小说,这是作者在希特勒罪行国际调查委员会工作的文学成果,其中包含了种种罪行见证人证词和受害人证词,以及对于实地考察和听到的事件的叙述。标题来源于作家1944年5月7日的日记:“我沿着林阴道回家,路旁都是坟墓,堆积了成行的尸体。
Sophia Nawakovska (1884-1954), a famous Polish woman writer, and her novel ”The Boundary“ (1935).
