Twin Block矫治器对骨性Ⅱ类患者平面及下颌平面的影响及其控制的研究现状

Twin Block矫治器(Twin Block Appliance,TBA)是目前矫治早期骨性Ⅱ类患者应用最广泛的功能矫治器之一。有报道,TBA治疗Ⅱ类错过程中可能会引起下颌骨的顺时针旋转,导致平面(OcclusalPlane,OP)和下颌平面(Mandibular Plane,MP)与眶耳平面的夹角增大。Ⅱ类错患者本身有Spee曲线过分弯曲的特点,而且这一特征很可能会影响颌骨的发育。本文就OP与错畸形的关系,TBA对OP及MP的影响和控制的研究现状作一综述。 Twin Block Appliance (TBA) is currently one of the most widely used functional appliances in the treatment of early stage skeletal Class II patients. It has been reported that TBA may cause clockwise rotation of the mandible during Class II malocclusion, resulting in an increase of the angle between Occlusal Plane (OP) and Mandibular Plane (MP) and the orbit ear plane. Patients with class II malformations themselves have the characteristic of excessive curvature of the Spee curve, and this feature is likely to affect jaw development. This article reviews the relationship between OP and malformations, the impact and control of TBA on OP and MP.
