由中国出版工作者协会和三联、中华、商务香港总管理处联合主办的“中国书展”,经过两年的精心筹备,于一九八五年十二月十二日至二十二日,在香港展览中心展出。这是中华人民共和国成立以来规模最大的一次书籍展览。参加展出的单位有内地二百八十九家出版社,除台湾省外,内地二十九个省、市、自治区都有出版单位参加,参展书籍共二万八个二百零七利,计三万零六百八十九册。特别体现了自一九七八年以来,中国政府竭力弘扬中华文化,积极发展出版事业,使得现代中国出版事业有了新的成就,增添了新的内容。 The “China Book Fair”, co-sponsored by the Association of Chinese Publishers and the Sanlian, China and Hong Kong General Management Office, has been carefully prepared for two years from December 12 to August 22, Hong Kong Exhibition Center on display. This is the largest book exhibition ever since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. There are 289 Mainland publishing companies participating in the exhibition. Apart from Taiwan Province, 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the Mainland have publishing units to participate in the exhibition. The total number of exhibitors is 208,077, Total 30,689 books. In particular, since 1978, the Chinese government has done its utmost to carry forward the Chinese culture and actively develops its publishing business, bringing about new achievements and adding new content to the publishing business in modern China.
